Walter Whip will be doing a whip cracking school Saturday afternoon followed by a show in the Main Arena on Saturday night.
Walter Whip was born in Brisbane in 1987 and had a passion for the Australian country
lifestyle despite growing up in the heart of Brisbane. Walter purchased his first stock
whip at 10 years of age and spent many hours practicing all kind of whip cracking styles.
He then added more and more whips into his whip cracking routine. He then developed
the skill to crack 6 whips at once and performed in front of crowds at school fetes and
The Australian Woolshed.
In 2015 Walter had thoughts of taking his whip cracking skills to a show level again, then
approached by someone on the Australian rodeo circuit to re-start his show he has come
back in full swing with his new show “Walter Whip and The Flames”.
He has now taken whip cracking shows in Australia here to a new level, introducing his
fellow performers “The Flames” into the show. Walter now performs crowd pleasing,
spectacular shows cutting roses from the very trusting girl’s hands and mouths. Walter
Whip is also a fire whip artist and performs fire stunts including entering a burning ring
of fire, cracking 2 whips on fire. His shows are active, spectacular and a must see
performance especially with those great balls of fire throughout his fire stunts.
Walter Whip and The Flames have a busy show schedule each year performing at Royal
and Annual Shows, Rodeos and Festivals. Their show also raises awareness and funding
for Cystic Fibrosis Australia and RACQ LifeFlight.
This year their show will play a great part in the Scoot Mason Annual Tractor Pull at
Biddeston in August, RACQ LifeFlight Gala events and The Launch of the Cystic
Fibrosis, Great Escape Drive Rally in Dubbo.
