JUNIOR AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

GUIDELINES

The Mt Gravatt Junior Show Ambassador is open to males and females, 12-17 years of age who have a love for the Mt Gravatt Show, is enthusiastic and well presented.

This award will foster and broaden the knowledge and participation in the agricultural show movement. It will develop leadership skills, build confidence and community involvement.

The aim of the award is to highlight the importance of young people in rural and regional areas of the Queensland and encourage and foster their involvement in the Mt Gravatt Show.

The winners of the award will be expected to attend the 2026 Mt Gravatt Show, set down for Saturday & Sunday, 25 & 26 July, and will participate in the formal and informal procedures over the three days, alongside the Mt Gravatt Young Woman and Rural Ambassador.

Parent/caregivers permission is essential, and all entrants are required to complete the attached entry form and participate in an informal interview session.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Open to males and females, 12 to 17 years of age as at 01/05/2026.
2. Entrants will have their photo published in the local paper and the other publicity for the show.
3. Entry form to be submitted online using the below form no later than the closing date 31/05/2026.
4. Judges’ decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into.

JUDGING & PRESENTATIONS

• Judging will take place Saturday 6th June
• Presentations & Announcement to be held on Saturday 13th June.
