All the animals are raised by us at our property, we breed them for their colours and their playfulness. Come to bottle feeding of the younger animals at 9 am and 5.30pm We love our minature goats, of which you will meet many of them at the show but don’t forget to check out Ellis our Anglo Nubrium dairy goat, he is tall.
If you would like to go for a walk, take Frosty or Shadow the alpacas or Bacon the pig or Velvet the goat for a walk around the show grounds You can learn about wool and how it gets from the animals to a garment, there will be some one to talk to, through out the day about “wool”. There will be farm animal work shops and sheep shearing shows through out the day. Look forward to seeing you interacting with our very friendly animals.

Have you ever attended craft shows and wondered how the items were made? This year, the Mt Gravatt Show’s Cottage Crafts Section will include paper-based Make and Takes so you can give it a go. All skill levels are covered and classes will give you confidence to create some of your own pieces; maybe to enter in future shows.
Sessions will be 10am, 11am, 12.30, 1.30, 2.30, 3.30 for both Saturday and Sunday.
All materials are provided however there is a gold coin contribution required per person.

Often thought to be the best toy ever made, feast your eyes upon this year’s inspiring Lego displays.

Their members are some of the most talented LEGO builders in Australia.
Come and see their amazing displays at the Mt Gravatt Show and marvel at what can be constructed out of LEGO. From cars, castles, miniature cities, spaceships, ships, chess sets its a display not to be missed. This is one of the largest community LEGO displays in Brisbane.
Brisbricks members will be on hand to answer questions and children will be able to make some LEGO displays.
Sheep Dog Trials

Errol Gill
Born in Ipswich, lived most of his life in the rural areas in and around Boonah.
Training and breeding of Kelpie working dogs, came about when a tree change had him living in Coonabarabran, NSW.
Errol purchased a property and ran sheep and cattle, and doing contract stock work. He has always used the Kelpie dogs to assist with the stock work.
He was introduced to Competition – Working dog trials, in both cattle and sheep. He is Queensland handler of the year, 2021 & 2022 and Caviar George – Open Yard Dog for both 2021 & 2022 Sheep yard dog trialing.
The Kelpie team have just returned from competing in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. At the Australian Yard
Dog Competition in Victoria, Caviar George represented Queensland, placing 10th.
Since retiring, Errol’s focus has been directed into the development of handlers and their dogs. Along with his partner, Jeanel, Errol is demonstrating a small glimpse of how a ‘Working Dog’ assists the farmer in his daily role.
In 2021, he inspired the formation of The Boonah Working Stock Dog Club Inc, promoting the training of handlers and dogs for the future.
The club is located in the Kalbar in the Scenic Rim. The club holds regular training days and
competitions.

The Mount Gravatt Show is a long-standing tradition in the South East QLD district, held at the iconic Mt Gravatt showgrounds on Logan road since 1918. It's a great day out for families with spectacular entertainment.
