Have you ever attended craft shows and wondered how the items were made? This year, the Mt Gravatt Show’s Cottage Crafts Section will include paper-based ‘Make and Takes’ so you can give it a go.  

All skill levels are covered and classes will give you confidence to create some of your own pieces; maybe to enter in future shows.

In this immersive, interpretive space you can get up close with Australian native animals including Koalas, Crocodiles and other Native Birds, Mammals and Reptiles.

This is a unique chance to chat with experienced handlers and learn about the big picture, what we can all do to help conserve wildlife and live harmoniously with them and most of all, be able to spend time with enigmatic Australian animals.

Skylighter Fireworx is a Queensland company and one of Australia’s largest Fireworks display companys. Skylighter produces innovative firework’s displays and will again this year put on another spectacular display to end our night entertainment program.

FMX Kaos International Freestyle Team will perform 2 shows daily. Two riders – Tom Robertson who has invented his own tricks and who has traveled the world and Scott Fitzgerald who has ridden with Nitro Circus will perform the most death defying entertaining stunt show ever performed in the Country.

Don’t miss their stunt show Saturday 2:00pm and in our Saturday Night Entertainment Program commencing at 6:30pm.

The Stunt team will perform again on Sunday at 11:00am and 2:00pm.

Visit Magical Ponies and take one of Lisa’s beautiful and friendly ponies for a ride.

Magical Ponies is the pride and joy of Lisa. She loves sharing her furry friends with children far and wide.

Lisa is a local born and bred on the Gold Coast. She is a licensed Racehorse Trainer and has trained for 20 years.

Brisbricks

Lego Display

Often thought to be the best toy ever made, feast your eyes upon this year’s inspiring Lego displays.

Brisbricks is Brisbane’s Premier Recognised LEGO User Group.

Their members are some of the most talented LEGO builders in Australia.

Come and see their amazing displays at the Mt Gravatt Show and marvel at what can be constructed out of LEGO. From cars, castles, miniature cities, spaceships, ships, chess sets its a display not to be missed. This is one of the largest community LEGO displays in Brisbane.

Brisbricks members will be on hand to answer questions and children will be able to make some LEGO displays.

Sheep Dog

Sheep Dog Trials - Saturday Only

In a sheepdog trial, dogs are guided by their handler to move sheep around a field and through various obstacles.

Errol Gill, an Ipswich-born Kelpie trainer and two-time Queensland Handler of the Year (2021–2022), has achieved national success with top dog Caviar George.

Now based in the Scenic Rim, he focuses on mentoring handlers and co-founded the Boonah Working Stock Dog Club to promote the future of working dogs.
